Mechanical Engineering Portfolio
BRIAN PEOPLES
SUMMARY
Hi there! I'm Brian Peoples, a mechanical engineer currently located near Boston, MA. In July of 2023, I embarked on a new journey with Analog Devices as a manufacturing engineer supporting hybrid electrical assembly for the aerospace and defense industry. As of July 2024 I will in part be pursuing a MS in Engineering Management with a focus on product management.
My previous experience includes Apple Inc. where I supported the Softgoods TechOps organization as a manufacturing engineer intern from May 2022 - May 2023, primarily focused on Vision Pro. Additionally, I’ve completed 3x internships at SharkNinja LLC as a mechanical test engineer supporting NPI development of the SpeedStyle hairdryer, CarpetXpert, Vacmop, among other legacy upright cordless vacuums.

Experienced in design, data visualization, and statistics for high and low volume manufacturing.
I encourage and practice bringing together solutions to engineering problems that do not cause future interference. In process quality and customer vision are what drive successful organizations.
"The first truth you must accept for Future Proofing You is that nothing can be achieved without a growth mindset" - Jay Samit
If you are interested in discussing any present or future professional opportunities, feel free to reach out with any ideas.
Cheers!
Strengths:
-
Penchant for driving scalable designs that enable less mistakes
during manufacturing (you probably call that poke-yoke or DFM)
-
Probably better than you at chess (depends if you play)
-
Tinkerer, I like to understand then improve
Weaknesses:
-
Loves destructive testing
-
Sometimes lets powerpoints / keynotes grow too large (ops)
-
Thinks matlab is the solution to everything (not really)
